It's been safely stored away under the bed in my spare room since August and I am the creakier as a result. Now that the decision has been made, I am looking forward to getting back on to this machine. I know from past experience that within a day or two I will be feeling taller because it helps with posture. I also know that it improves flexibility and gives me a sense of well being. The workouts are fairly easy and you only need to give it about 20-15 minutes at a time to really feel the benefits. For anyone who is overweight and unfit like myself and perhaps thinking of investing in exercise equipment for 2010, Pilates is worth a look. There are other versions of this machine, some with an option to introduce an aerobic element to your exercise. If I had the money I would be thinking about upgrading but I have had this model for the last couple of years and, with the exception of the last few months, I have used it fairly regularly. I find that it also helps me to destress when I get in from work in the evenings.
So now that I've shared my plan, there is no going back on it. The new regimen gets under way forthwith.
